Stores and service businesses answer the same questions about products, compatibility and delivery every day. Foreign chatbots handle Lithuanian poorly, and since 2 August 2026 the EU AI Act requires a chatbot to disclose that it is AI.
Our own product – an AI assistant for websites and online stores
SmartChat
SmartChat is an AI assistant we built that answers shoppers from your website content and product documents.
Solution
We built SmartChat from scratch as a multi-tenant service. It answers from website content and PDF datasheets. When a customer asks for a person, it hands the conversation to the team, and if nobody replies it offers a contact form. It introduces itself as an AI assistant in four languages (LT, EN, LV, ET). It installs on WordPress (plugin) and Shopify (app), with self-service sign-up and billing.
Outcome
SmartChat runs live in the IGLU Smart smart home store at iglusmart.eu. A new store can connect it on its own with a 14-day trial, or we set it up for them.
